Resources within Rutgers
GradFund Office at Rutgers dedicated to helping graduate students identify and apply for funding. All full-time Ph.D. students should be working with this office at some stage.
Louis Bevier Fellowships. Currently, a limited number of these fellowships is awarded to students who are post-qualifying and entering their dissertation phase.
Resources outside Rutgers
National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program. The most extensive external fellowship program in the U.S., awarding approximately 2,000 new fellowships per year. Only U.S. citizens or Permanent Residents are eligible.
National Defense Science & Engineering Graduate Fellowship Program. Awards approximately 200 new fellowships per year in areas of interest to defense, broadly characterized. Only U.S. citizens or Permanent Residents are eligible.
