- For the Class of 2025 and later, Organic Chemistry II (01:160:308) is replaced by a Chemical Science Elective, which is one course chosen from the following list of courses: 01:160:308 Organic Chemistry II; 01:160:351 Inorganic Chemistry I; 16:155:541 Pharmaceutical Materials Engineering; 16:155:571 Sustainable, Renewable, Clean Energy; 14:635:205 Crystal Chemistry and Structure of Materials; 14:635:440 Electrochemical Materials and Devices.
Pre-Req Override for General Microbiology (01:447:390 & 11:680:390)
- The biology requirement for General Microbiology is waived for chemical engineering students who have completed Organic Chemistry I, the Chemical Science Elective, and Biological Foundations (155:210). Deans and advisors at SoE Office of Academic Services grant pre-req override to CBE students taking General Microbiology. Please contact B-100 for pre-req override.
